Culture is a top-down phenomenon

Culture is a top-down phenomenon, says Louise Mowbray of Mowbray Design.

“As leaders, we establish the thinking of the organisation, the culture of the organisation, the personality, the DNA through our thinking as leaders. We are responsible for the environment that we create and the culture that is perpetuated. Culture doesn’t just emerge on its own,” says Mowbray.

 Today, during the COVID-19 pandemic, many of us are faced with the realisation that we need to rapidly pivot and change. However, we’re not always clear as to what we have to offer or where our experience and expertise may be of great value to others.
